About Victory Van Corporation
Victory's origins date back to 1928 when our founders started Federal Storage Company of Washington, D.C. About 20 years later, in 1945, Victory Van Corporation was founded, and the two corporations, although independent, worked closely together until 1963 when Federal merged with another company. Victory has grown to become a diversified relocation and storage specialist, serving your domestic and international needs in the fields of air, sea, road and rail movement.
Our Alexandria, Virginia facility serves as corporate headquarters and primary warehouse and distribution facility. Our Alexandria warehouse is ideally located to facilitate receiving product and distribution for restaurants and hotels. The warehouse is located less than 10 minutes from Downtown D.C., boasts 90,000 square feet and utilizes the state-of-the-art Windfall inventory management system.
Another facility is located near Washington Dulles International Airport. It is situated on 12 acres and is the site of an expanding consolidation and distribution service as well as the airports first off-site foreign trade zone. It accommodates over 12,000 storage vaults of household goods. The facilities are all solid masonry, including concrete pre-stressed roofs with both video monitored security and fire protection including sprinkler and Halon systems.

A Company Who Cares - Community Support
We feel it is important and may be of value to emphasize our community involvement as a corporate citizen. Clearly, we derive our welfare from the community and we feel it is extremely important to continuously make a similar contribution.
Victory was one of the first major employers in the City of Alexandria to be recognized for its environmental programs and subsequently received an award from the Washington Metropolitan Area Council of Governments for our programs.
The most prestigious award Victory has received is the FIDI Environmental Award. This award is bestowed by the International Federation of International Furniture Removers, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, which represents over 2,000 moving and storage entities worldwide and Victory was the first recipient.
The award is given to the one moving and storage company in the world who has demonstrated that it has dedicated its efforts, policies and operational procedures towards reducing our industry's negative impact on the environment. Victory was singled out for this global recognition for its intensive efforts in utilizing environmental friendly products, reducing the impact of its fleet operations and its recycling efforts.
